Lip Balms

Our lip balms are made with a generous amount of butters and plant oils, set with beeswax so they glide on smoothly and stay put. They soften dry lips and keep them comfortable through the day, whether it's cold wind or central heating.

There are three scents to choose from. Cocoa Orange is warm and zesty, Mint Cocoa is fresh and cooling, and Mango & Lime is bright and fruity. Each one comes plain or with a sheer tint of mineral colour in Blush, Pink or Red.

The plain lip balm is also included in our Evening Ritual Set, with your choice of scent.

Apply to your lips whenever they feel dry, and reapply after eating or drinking.

For very dry lips, apply a thicker layer before bed and let it work overnight.

Shea butter (mango butter in Mango & Lime), cocoa butter and beeswax give the balms their rich, protective texture, with coconut, sweet almond, avocado and jojoba oils to soften. Vitamin E helps keep the oils fresh. The scent comes from essential oils only, and the tinted shades get their colour from mica and mineral pigments.

Suitable for most people. If you know you're sensitive to citrus or peppermint oils, choose your scent with that in mind, and patch test if you're unsure.

The jar

Our lip balms come in small glass jars. They've been amber, and we're moving to clear glass so you can see the colour of the tinted shades. Glass can be recycled at home in most areas, or the little jars are handy to reuse.

Made in small batches

We make everything in small batches and use organic ingredients wherever an organic version is available to buy. Anything left over at the end of a batch is potted into little testers, which sometimes find their way into orders as a free sample.

How your order arrives

Online orders are packed in a cardboard box, stamped by hand with our own ink stamp, with shredded card to keep everything safe (we chose it over cheaper plastic fillers) and a layer of tissue paper.
