Deodorant Balm

Our deodorant balm is aluminium-free and bicarbonate-free, made to keep you feeling fresh without the bicarbonate of soda that so many people find irritating on underarm skin.

It's a thick, solid balm that melts on contact with your skin. Shea and cocoa butters help it glide on smoothly, arrowroot, tapioca and clays help absorb dampness, and non-nano zinc oxide helps keep odour in check. Jojoba oil and vitamin E keep your underarms comfortable.

It's a deodorant rather than an antiperspirant, so it won't stop you sweating, but our customers find it keeps them fresh for most of the day.

There are three scents to choose from. Wild Petal is soft and floral, Fresh Balance is clean citrus with a calming herbal finish, and Grounded is warm and woody. We were thrilled when Wild Petal won silver at the Green Parent Awards 2026.

Each 70g balm comes in a plastic-free push-up cardboard tube and lasts months with daily use.

Push the balm up slightly from the base of the tube. Hold it against your skin for a moment to warm it, then glide it on.

The zinc oxide and powders can leave a white cast if they're not fully rubbed in, so either warm it in with your fingertips afterwards or apply it once you're dressed to avoid marks on your clothes.

Reapply whenever you need to. If you've just shaved, give your skin a little time before applying.

All three scents share the same base of shea and cocoa butters, beeswax, jojoba, coconut and neem, with tapioca, arrowroot, kaolin and bentonite clays to absorb moisture, and non-nano zinc oxide to help keep odour at bay. The scents come from essential oils only, and there's no bicarbonate, aluminium or preservative in any of them.

🌸 Wild Petal

Geranium, ylang ylang, palmarosa and sweet orange. Soft and floral, for anyone who loves a floral scent. It contains several naturally occurring fragrance allergens, so if your underarm skin is very reactive or prone to eczema, we'd recommend a patch test first.

🍋 Fresh Balance

Lemon, bergamot, lavender and rosemary. Clean and citrusy, and a favourite for busy, active days. Citrus oils can sting on freshly shaved skin, so leave a little time after shaving, and it's not the best choice for very reactive skin.

🌲 Grounded

Frankincense, patchouli, sandalwood and pink pepper. Warm and woody, and lovely if you prefer something that isn't sweet or floral. A great unisex choice. It still contains essential oils, so patch test if your skin is sensitive.
