A nourishing mineral sun shield designed to support and protect the skin naturally.
Formulated with non-nano zinc oxide, this balm sits gently on the skin to help deflect UVA and UVB rays, while a rich blend of organic butters and botanical oils works to deeply nourish and strengthen the skin barrier.
Shea and cocoa butter provide long-lasting moisture and softness, while raspberry seed, rosehip, and carrot seed oils offer antioxidant-rich support against environmental stressors. Jojoba and avocado oils help to maintain balance and elasticity, leaving skin supple, calm, and comforted.
Infused with soothing lavender, chamomile, and frankincense, this balm helps to calm delicate or reactive skin while delivering a subtle, grounding natural scent.

Is this an SPF?
This balm is not SPF tested. It is formulated with non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral ingredient known to sit on the skin and help reflect UVA and UVB rays, while supporting the skin barrier.
When should I use this product?
This balm is ideal for everyday wear, especially during low to moderate sun exposure, or when your skin needs extra nourishment and protection from the elements.
Can I use this instead of sunscreen?
This product is best thought of as a daily mineral skin shield. For extended or intense sun exposure, you may wish to layer with additional sun protection.
Will it suit sensitive skin?
Yes — this formula is designed with sensitive and reactive skin in mind, using gentle, natural ingredients and calming botanicals like chamomile and lavender.
Will it leave a white cast?
Due to the presence of non-nano zinc oxide, a subtle cast may be visible on some skin tones. This can be softened by applying a small amount to well-hydrated skin and gently pressing in.
Can I use this on my children?
Yes, this balm is suitable for delicate skin at least 3+. As with all products, we recommend carrying out a patch test first.
How to Use
Warm a small amount between fingertips and gently press into the skin as the final step in your routine.
As part of your AM routine:
- Cleanse with your Cleansing Oil
- Apply your Rose Facial Toner
- Lightly spritz again to dampen the skin
- Apply the Sun Balm to lock in hydration and seal the skin
Best applied to slightly damp skin to maximise hydration and absorption.
Can also be reapplied throughout the day to nourish and support exposed areas.

I was so keen to try this Sun Balm as it "stated suitable for all skin types". Unfortunately it wasn't for me as when I applied it to my face I couldn't wait to cleanse it off after half an hour, as it irritated my skin so much. I do have fairly sensitive skin, so it might suit others. It also left my skin very shiny despite applying in a thin layer as directed, and looked as though I was covered in oil. I have tried it again with the same irritation, so sadly for me, a waste of money.

Our Sun Balm is an oil based, mineral formulation, designed to create a nourishing protective barrier using natural oils, butters, wax and zinc oxide. Because of this, it does have a noticeably balmy and dewy finish, which some skin types love and others may find too rich - this is of course personal preference.
Skin sensitivity can vary greatly from person to person, even with the most carefully formulated natural products, and unfortunately this means a product that works beautifully for many won’t suit everyone.
